My CLAMP haul from Expo!  Doesn’t want to photoset properly without editing but I honestly cannot be bothered.  More pictures on Flickr later.

So!  I got a TB artbook, which I’d been planning on buying anyway but it was one of the very first things I saw when I entered the convention hall, so I was like THIS IS FATE.  Then also super-adorable pin badges & two gorgeous poster sets.  I’m gonna frame the poster of precious baby & put it on the wall somewhere hopefully so I can sob violently every time I enter the room.

I also spent most of the day hanging out with inmyvortex who is lovely ;w;  All in all A SUCCESSFUL DAY I THINK.

I just wanted to let you know that your tumblr is my FAVORITE. :) It’s really funny and filled with everything beautiful about CLAMP. Thank you for sharing the CCS side-story!

I’ve been meaning to ask…but what do you feel about TRC’s and XxxHolic’s End? BTW, I practically worship your blog LOL.

As for the TRC & xxxHolic endings… I feel like I need to re-read xxxHolic before I can go into it in any sort of depth, it’s been a while.

But I’ve got similar feelings about both endings, really.  A lot of people seem to take issue with where they took the plots, whereas I really like what they did?  My only problems are with the execution - the pacing wasn’t great, bits of it seemed rushed & the storytelling was convoluted in places, disjointed in others.  I’m not sure how much planning they put into the endings but it felt like they could have benefited from a bit more.

That said, I don’t think any of those problems are exclusive to TRC or xxxHolic, there are a bunch of things they’ve done that suffer from poor planning & pacing (imo) so it’s… not all that unexpected, ahaha ;w;
